Today, on our 50th Wedding Anniversary, can we share our story with you?

Barb and I were engaged on Valentine’s eve, February 13, 1973, and then married on November 17, 1973 — 50 years ago the day after tomorrow. I was an idiot and my proposal, although accepted, was sophomoric at best. So, I decided for a redo, and on February 13, 2023, the 50th Anniversary of my first proposal, I did the second one (the re-do) much “more better.” Best of all, she accepted.
The audio is not that good, but I hope it’ll make you smile. My daughter Kate, son-in-love, Charles, and I went to Barb’s Jazzercize class, and I proposed to her there. You can click here to see the video with her sweet response.
