Can a corrupt throne be allied with you—a throne that brings on misery by its decrees? … For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
Our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. … God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. … Far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.
The prince of this world is coming. He has no hold over me. … Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. … A high priest truly meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens. … If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. … The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. … The ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
