I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing … And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
Be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. … Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. … Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Pray for those who mistreat you. … Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
When you pray, say: “‘Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.’”
