Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you? … Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice … Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

These things I remember as I pour out my soul: how I used to go to the house of God under the protection of the Mighty One with shouts of joy and praise among the festive throng. … Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my joy and my delight. I will praise you with the lyre, O God, my God. … May the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; may they be happy and joyful.

May all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who long for your saving help always say, “The LORD is great!” … Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice. … He brought out his people with rejoicing, his chosen ones with shouts of joy.

I will be fully satisfied, as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you. On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night. Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings.
