Maintaining good (1) physical, (2) emotional/mental, (3) social/family, and (4) spiritual health (all of which Jesus demonstrated; see Acts 2:52) can be a complex endeavor.
There are many factors in each of these “four wheels” of health influencing not only how we feel and function daily, but how “smooth” a health ride we’ll have in life (the quality of our life), and how long of a life we may have (the quantity of of our life).
During their annual health maintenance visits with me, it’s not unusual for patients to ask questions about various aspects of their well-being about which they wonder or about which they are concerned.
Below are some common health questions of the many that I’ve been asked over the last forty years.
Although I’ll give some brief, general answers in the next few weeks, you may wish to consider asking your physician for more detailed answers, tailored to you as only your family physician can to help you make informed decisions about your health.
