Did you know that the more symptoms you have after a COVID-19 vaccine the better?

CNN reported on a new study revealing that some of the side effects of the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines are actually a very good thing.

How so?

People who reported experiencing systemic side effects to the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines tended to have a greater antibody response following vaccination.

What symptoms predicted a better antibody response?

  • Fever,
  • Chills, and
  • Muscle pain

Experiencing such systemic “symptoms after vaccination is associated with greater antibody responses compared with having only pain or rash at the injection site or no symptoms at all.

The study was published in a research letter in JAMA Network Open.
