My next book, my 39th, is the second book about my days as a young husband, father, and family physician in the then-small-town of Kissimmee, Florida. The Best Gift: Tales of a Small-Town Doctor Learning Life’s Greatest Lessons releases nationally in two weeks, on Tuesday, November 16.

The Best Gift is the sequel to my 2020 release of The Best Medicine: Tales of Humor and Hope from a Small-Town Doctor. Over the next few days, I’ll share some of the praise and reviews that have come in for both books.
