If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
This is what the LORD says to Israel: “Seek me and live. … You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. … Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart. … You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water.
Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. … But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness. … For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
No one should seek their own good, but the good of others. … Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. … (Love) does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. … Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
