And rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing. … Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns and songs from the Spirit. … Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
In your relationships with one another, have the same attitude of mind Christ Jesus had … Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
Now about your love for one another we do not need to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love each other … Therefore encourage one another with these words. … encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
