“Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the LORD.
This is what the LORD says—he who made you, who formed you in the womb, and who will help you: “Do not be afraid!” … “Do not be afraid of the king of Babylon, whom you now fear. Do not be afraid of him,” declares the LORD, “for I am with you and will save you and deliver you from his hands.”
Do not lose heart or be afraid when rumors are heard in the land; one rumor comes this year, another the next, rumors of violence in the land and of ruler against ruler.
He said: “Son of man … The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and stubborn. Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says.’ And whether they listen or fail to listen … you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words.”
Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns are all around you and you live among scorpions. Do not be afraid of what they say or be terrified by them, though they are a rebellious house. You must speak my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious.
