I have engraved you on the palms of my hands
February 12, 2021Love never fails
February 13, 2021“Can I not do with you … as this potter does?” declares the LORD. “Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand. … See now that I myself am He! There is no god besides me. I put to death and I bring to life, I have wounded and I will heal, and no one can deliver out of my hand.”
For day and night your hand was heavy on me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. Then I acknowledged my sin to you … and you forgave the guilt of my sin. … He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters … You make your saving help my shield, and your right hand sustains me.
The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time. You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing. The LORD is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does. … You have kept your promise to your servant … with your mouth you have promised and with your hand you have fulfilled it.
Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name.
