November 26, 2020Victory
November 27, 2020Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail. … No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. … The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God.” Jesus answered, “It is written” Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.” Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written.”
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. … Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
In addition to all this, take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. … Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

Thanks for getting me ready for this day, Walt. I pray my mind will immediately come back to these verses when my heart leads me away.
And, I do hope you’ll help spread the word about “Morning Glory, Evening Grace” to your friends, family, and faith community.
It’s not me, Al. It’s God’s word illuminated by His Spirit and chewed and meditated upon by His servant. Take out any of these critical elements and the whole thing creaks to a rapid halt. May you continue to be blessed and illuminated by His Word and Spirit as He continues to bear much fruit in and through you. Love to you and Beck!
