God is my salvation; The Lord, the Lord himself, has become my salvation.

You are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.

Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. … Then Moses said to them, “Slaughter the Passover lamb. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. … Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. … I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. … This is the Lord, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.
