Grace

November 2, 2020God is my salvation; The Lord, the Lord himself, has become my salvation.
You are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.
Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. … Then Moses said to them, “Slaughter the Passover lamb. Take a bunch of hyssop, dip it into the blood in the basin and put some of the blood on the top and on both sides of the doorframe. When the Lord (sees) the blood, (he) will pass over that doorway, and he will not permit the destroyer to enter your houses and strike you down. … The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” … Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha). There they crucified him. … One of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water. … This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. … Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. … I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. … This is the Lord, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.
