Fellowship

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor. … Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. … And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. … Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness. … Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? … Our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. … If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another. … God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage that I may gain Christ. … I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings.
