But Now Am Found
July 31, 2020Listen to Me
August 1, 2020Do you believe in the Son of Man?
“Who is he, sir?” the man asked. “Tell me so that I may believe in him.”
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. … God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen. … “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
Then the man said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him. … I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day. … He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
For in Scripture it says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,” and, “A stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall.”
Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
