He Seeks Us

And Isaiah boldly says, “I was found by those who did not seek me; I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me.

There is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God. … For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. … The true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

Has not the one God made you? You belong to him in body and spirit. And what does the one God seek? Godly offspring.

From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. … “That the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, even all the Gentiles who bear my name,” says the Lord.

I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was found by those who did not seek me. To a nation that did not call on my name, I said, “Here am I, here am I.”

The Lord looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. … God looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God.
