Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep.
The curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. … Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.
The way into the Most Holy Place had not yet been disclosed as long as the first tabernacle was still functioning.
I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. … No one comes to the Father except through me.
But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
Through him we … have access to the Father by one Spirit. … Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household.
Since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body.
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.
