I am the Lord your God; follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.
So be careful to do what the Lord your God has commanded you; do not turn aside to the right or to the left. Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.
But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do. … Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did. … If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who does what is right has been born of him. … Keeping God’s commands is what counts. … For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. … Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. … Praise be to you, Lord; teach me your decrees. … Teach me, Lord, the way of your decrees, that I may follow it to the end.
Continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. … Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
