Praise be to the Lord the God of my master Abraham, who has not abandoned his kindness and faithfulness to my master.

But show me unfailing kindness like the LORD’s kindness as long as I live … May the LORD show you kindness and faithfulness.

He shows unfailing kindness to his anointed, to David and his descendants forever. … But Hezekiah’s heart was proud and he did not respond to the kindness shown him; therefore the LORD’s wrath was on him.

I say to God … You gave me life and showed me kindness, and in your providence watched over my spirit.

“For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with deep compassion I will bring you back. In a surge of anger I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you,” says the Lord your Redeemer.

This is what the LORD says: “Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast of their riches, but let those who boast boast about this: that they understand and know me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,”declares the LORD.

The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”
