Do Not Be Afraid – 3
March 23, 2020Do Not Be Afraid – 5
March 24, 2020Therefore, this is what the Lord, the Lord Almighty, says: “My people who live in Zion, do not be afraid.”
You who bring good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who bring good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the towns of Judah, “Here is your God! … For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. Do not be afraid, you worm Jacob, little Israel, do not fear, for I myself will help you,” declares the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.
But now, this is what the Lord says—he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.”
“Do not tremble, do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim this and foretell it long ago? You are my witnesses. Is there any God besides me? No, there is no other Rock; I know not one.”

If that was God’s message to His people in the Old Testament, we know it is a stronger one for us. We see He fulfilled hHis promises and we have the risen Lord now. He is our rock and savior. There is no reason to worry. Thanks for all you have shared.
