The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love … The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made … The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does … The Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does.

The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous.

Rich and poor have this in common: The Lord is the Maker of them all.

The Lord, the Lord, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.

Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord, is the Rock eternal.

Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!

For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; it is he who will save us.

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

But the Lord is the true God; he is the living God, the eternal King.

Give thanks to the Lord Almighty, for the Lord is good; his love endures forever.
