The Will of God
January 16, 2020Old Men
January 17, 2020This sin of the young men was very great in the LORD’s sight, for they were treating the LORD’s offering with contempt.
Your troops will be willing on your day of battle. Arrayed in holy splendor, your young men will come to you like dew from the morning’s womb.
Praise the LORD from the earth … young men … let them praise the name of the LORD, for his name alone is exalted …
Now then, my sons, listen to me; pay attention to what I say. Do not let your heart turn to (the prostitute’s) ways or stray into her paths. Many are the victims she has brought down; her slain are a mighty throng. Her house is a highway to the grave, leading down to the chambers of death.
Encourage the young men to be self-controlled … The glory of young men is their strength … (but) even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning.
I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.
