If anyone has ears to hear, let them hear … faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
This observance will be for you like a sign on your hand and a reminder on your forehead that this law of the Lord is to be on your lips.
Blessed are those who do not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but who delight in the law of the Lord and meditate on his law day and night. They are like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.
When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, Lord God Almighty.
Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.
I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you … I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.
These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.
