The Old Heart – 4
January 11, 2020The Old Heart – 5
January 12, 2020Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever.
Light shines on the righteous and joy on the upright in heart.
Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
A happy heart makes the face cheerful … The discerning heart seeks knowledge, the cheerful heart has a continual feast.
Listen, my son, and be wise, and set your heart on the right path.
As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.
Pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
