After you have suffered a little while God will himself restore you and make you strong
December 8, 2019You are my portion, O Lord
December 9, 2019Hear, O LORD, and be merciful to me. … I lift up my eyes to the hills; where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. … As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forevermore. … May the Lord think of me. You are my help and my deliverer; O my God.
I lift up my eyes to you, to you whose throne is in heaven. As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid look to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the LORD our God, till he shows us his mercy.
Hide me in the shadow of your wings. … Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me, for in you my soul takes refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings. … For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings. … He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. … Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings. … You are my help and my deliverer; O LORD. … Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me.
My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare. … Our help is in the name of the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
