Let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth.
“Alas, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am too young.” But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you.” … Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man. … When he was twelve years old, they went up to the festival, according to the custom. … After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers. … Since my youth, God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds. … And the child grew and became strong in spirit.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” … I will remember the covenant I made with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you. … Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come.
