If you love me keep my commands

Be careful to do what the Lord your God has commanded you; do not turn aside to the right or to the left. Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days.Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. … If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love.

Noah did all that the Lord commanded him. … The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. …  So Abram went, as the Lord had told him. … Now the Lord had said to Moses in Midian, “Go back to Egypt.” So Moses started back to Egypt. … The word of the Lord came to Elijah: “Go and present) yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain on the land.” So Elijah went to present himself to Ahab. … Whatever you have commanded us we will do, and wherever you send us we will go. … I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart. … We your servants will do as our lord commands.

Not everyone who says to me, “Lord, Lord,” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. … “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. … And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross! … My Father, not as I will, but as you will.
