Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
Get wisdom, get understanding. … Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. … The deep says, “It is not in me”; the sea says, “It is not with me.” … But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. … Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.
Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. … God made us alive with Christ and raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. … People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. … Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land, you who do what he commands. Seek righteousness, seek humility.
