And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ. … Who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven.
“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” … After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Whose hands have gathered up the wind? Who has wrapped up the waters in a cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is the name of his son? Surely you know! … And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven. … But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
Give thanks to the God of heaven. His love endures forever. … I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you have established your faithfulness in heaven itself. … Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven. … Lord, the God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven above or on earth below—you who keep your covenant of love with your servants who continue wholeheartedly in your way. … The heavens, even the highest heaven, cannot contain you.
