Who is a God like you?
October 13, 2019Rejoice before the Lord your God
October 14, 2019It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.
I will be like the dew to Israel; he will blossom like a lily. Like a cedar of Lebanon he will send down his roots; his young shoots will grow. His splendor will be like an olive tree, his fragrance like a cedar of Lebanon.
May God give you heaven’s dew and earth’s richness—an abundance of grain and new wine. … May the Lord bless his land with the precious dew from heaven above and with the deep waters that lie below. … Lord—your dew is like the dew of the morning. … The heavens will drop their dew. I will give all these things as an inheritance to the remnant of this people.
As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. … Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. … It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe.
