From his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth—he who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do. … God looks down from heaven on all mankind to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven.
God heard them, for their prayer reached heaven, his holy dwelling place. … From heaven you heard them, and in your great compassion you gave them deliverers, who rescued them.
When they cried out to you again, you heard from heaven, and in your compassion you delivered them time after time.
Our God is in heaven. … I lift up my eyes to you, to you who sit enthroned in heaven. … O My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
Our help is in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. … Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you. … Even now my witness is in heaven; my advocate is on high.
We have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people—the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven. … An inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you.
