Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me
October 21, 2019Stop and consider God’s wonders. … Those wonders of him who has perfect knowledge.
October 22, 2019Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. … For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have?
A word was secretly brought to me, my ears caught a whisper of it. … And these are but the outer fringe of his works; how faint the whisper we hear of him! Who then can understand the thunder of his power? … How great is God—beyond our understanding! … His wisdom is profound, his power is vast. … He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.
For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. … Continue your love to those who know you, your righteousness to the upright in heart.
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. … Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
