The LORD satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things

The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. … Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. … Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.

You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. … My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. … I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far.

As for me, I will be vindicated and will see your face; when I awake, I will be satisfied with seeing your likeness. … Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. … They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights. … “My people will be filled with my bounty,” declares the Lord.
