July 31, 2008Marriage May Protect Against Dementia (and improves health in many other ways)
August 1, 2008Note: This blog contains descriptions of a sexual nature that are inappropriate for children.
LifeSiteNews.com is reporting that Planned Parenthood, the world’s largest promoter of abortion and un-restricted sexual activity for young people, has gone “over the top” with a series of videos on the internet aimed at teens, says the American Life League. Titled, “Take Care Down There,” the series of explicit videos features situations Planned Parenthood evidently believes are typical of those that young people will face and for which they require sex advice. In each, the conversation (or, in one case, the oral sex) is interrupted by an unidentified middle-aged man, who instructs the kids in the Planned Parenthood philosophies.
My Take?
You won’t believe these videos – which are being marketed to children as young as elementary age.
In one, a girl casually drops her trousers below the camera but in front of her friends, and asks them, “Do you see anything down here?”
The message is that sexually transmitted diseases often have no visible symptoms. A moment later, the man, dressed like a teacher or a guidance counselor in a shirt, tie, and sweater, breaks in on the teens’ conversation and also takes a look at the partially undressed girl. He tells the teens to “get a little testaroonie” to check for STIs.
In another, titled “I didn’t spew,” a young man is pictured from the waist up when the “teacher,” who is passing by, stops and says, “Guy! Where’s the prophylactic? … Oral sex is still sex, OK? If it’s unprotected, you gotta reject it.”
The conversation then continues with more explicit language about this ongoing sexual activity, justifying the need to use a condom rather than discouraging the highly unhealthy behavior.
In another especially bizarre video, a girl tells her two friends that she isn’t going to go to a party that night because she has plans to stay home and masturbate.
When her friends react, she responds, “What? I like me. I like spending time with me. Tonight I think I’m going to go all the way with me.”
At that moment the counselor figure walks and says, “Guys, guys! Abstinence can be a beautiful thing, alright? It’s kind of like being a virgin all over again. You know, it’s not easy. So you should give your friend here a little bit of support.”
The videos appear on the website of the Pacific Northwest chapter, Planned Parenthood Columbia Williamette, of Oregon and Southwest Washington.
American Life League says the videos use a “twisted sense of humor” to make “over-sexualized behaviour seem perfectly normal.”
Who thinks that this stuff is OK to show to kids? Planned Parenthood should be ashamed. You have ask, “Why is our tax money going to an organization that targets young people with this?”
My friend, Tony Perkins, at the Family Research Council, says:
Given the recent allegations against Planned Parenthood, one would think the organization would play it safe over the next few months and try to exercise some restraint.
But the plan to stay under the media’s radar is failing dismally in Oregon and Washington, where the local affiliate is making a full-scale assault on the morality of the states’ young people.
On its new website, TakeCareDownThere.org, the group posts a series of videos so revolting that members of my staff were visibly shaken.
This site is nothing more than an online playground for the prurient.
The screen promises “the ins and outs about the ins and outs,” but the material is highly inappropriate for adults, let alone young children.
Sadly, most parents are unaware that garbage like this is targeting their kids, and even fewer realize that they’re paying for it!
The website is a project of Planned Parenthood of Columbia Willamette, a Title X grantee.
This is exactly why FRC has prodded President Bush to change the government’s Title X regulations. Each year, Planned Parenthood pockets more than $300 million of your tax dollars.
One way to de-fund the group responsible for obscene material like this is to end the meshing of Title X “family planning” funds with abortion mills.
Call the White House switchboard today at 202-456-1414 and ask President Bush to separate these funds before more children are caught up in Planned Parenthood’s pornographic web.
