U.S. Family Physicians in Myanmar – Report #2

Dr. Walt has received this report from a spouse of one of the team members of the brave U.S. Family Physicians that have crossed the Thailand border into Myanmar and are providing medical mission work in some of the most devastated areas of Myanmar. By the way, if you want to send them a message, through me, please post your note below.

Here’s the note she had sent to Dr. Walt:

I just heard from (my husband) in Myanmar and the team is doing GREAT!!!

(He) said the team is all healthy and strong and working very well together. Yesterday they went to two different locations and were able to see and treat over 400 people.

(T)he said the hotel they are staying in is very nice and everyone is rested and strong.

Today (Tuesday – it’s 12 1/2 hours later there) they are planning to meet with a group of young Burmese doctors to help train them to take care of the people in the delta in hopes that they will soon be able to get into the area and bring medicine and food.

The team is not sure what they will be doing Wednesday-Friday yet but they … (have) asked that we continue to pray for…

  • health and protection
  • Divine wisdom
  • the hearts of the people to be open to the truth
  • the hearts of the leaders to be softened with compassion for their people
  • a supernatural impartation into the hearts of the Burmese doctors they will be working with
  • a supernatural multiplication of medicine and supplies

I am planning to speak with (my husband) again tomorrow night so I will write again then and let you know what wondrous things our Father is doing.

Blessings to you all.
